Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: August 19, 2026

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of The Rooted Soul website and your purchase or use of services, coaching, digital resources, assessments, and related offerings provided by The Rooted Soul.

By using this website, submitting an inquiry, purchasing an offering, or engaging The Rooted Soul for services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Services

The Rooted Soul provides business formation guidance, bookkeeping, financial stewardship, accounting-system setup and cleanup, strategic coaching, business education, and related support.

The specific scope, timing, deliverables, pricing, and responsibilities for client services may also be described in a proposal, engagement letter, service agreement, checkout page, invoice, or other written agreement. If a separate written agreement conflicts with these website Terms, the separate agreement will control for that engagement.

No Legal or Tax Advice

Information and services provided by The Rooted Soul are intended for business, bookkeeping, accounting organization, education, and strategic guidance. Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, The Rooted Soul does not provide legal advice or prepare legal documents.

When legal, tax, investment, or other licensed professional advice is required, you should consult an appropriately qualified professional.

Business Formation and Filing Support

Business formation services may include guidance regarding entity selection, registrations, licensing, EIN setup, business banking, accounting systems, and similar administrative matters.

Any optional filing support provided by The Rooted Soul is limited to eligible administrative filings and does not constitute legal representation. Government filing fees, software costs, licensing fees, and other third-party charges are separate unless expressly stated otherwise.

Pricing and Payment

Prices are shown in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated. Payment terms may vary by service or product and will be disclosed before purchase or in the applicable proposal, agreement, checkout, or invoice.

Third-party platforms, including scheduling and payment providers, may be used to process purchases. You are responsible for providing accurate billing and payment information.

Monthly Bookkeeping and Ongoing Services

STEWARD monthly bookkeeping engagements require a minimum three-month commitment unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Monthly service pricing may depend on factors including transaction volume, number of accounts, payroll, accounts payable or receivable needs, reporting requirements, financial complexity, and the condition of existing books.

If an engagement includes automatic renewal or continuous recurring billing, the applicable checkout, agreement, or confirmation will describe the billing frequency, amount or range of charges, minimum commitment, renewal terms, and available cancellation method.

Cleanup and Project-Based Work

QuickBooks cleanup and similar project-based services may be priced after reviewing the condition and scope of the work. Any starting price displayed on the website is not a guarantee of the final project price.

Additional work outside an agreed scope may require a revised quote or written approval before proceeding.

Digital Products and Educational Materials

Digital products, workbooks, checklists, guides, templates, assessments, and educational materials are provided for personal or internal business use only unless written permission states otherwise.

You may not reproduce, resell, distribute, publish, sublicense, share, modify for resale, or commercially exploit these materials without written permission from The Rooted Soul.

Coaching

Coaching is collaborative and educational in nature. Results depend on many factors outside The Rooted Soul's control, including your decisions, implementation, market conditions, and business circumstances.

No specific financial, revenue, profit, growth, or business outcome is guaranteed.

Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for providing complete, accurate, and timely information reasonably necessary for The Rooted Soul to perform agreed services.

Delays, missing records, inaccurate information, unavailable account access, or failure to respond may affect timelines, deliverables, and the accuracy of work performed.

Scheduling and Rescheduling

Appointments, consultations, and coaching sessions may be scheduled through a third-party scheduling platform. Any appointment-specific cancellation or rescheduling policy displayed at the time of booking also applies.

Refunds and Cancellations

Refund and cancellation terms may differ by offering and will be disclosed at checkout, in the applicable service agreement, or in the purchase description.

Because digital products may provide immediate access to downloadable or proprietary materials, eligibility for refunds may be limited once access has been provided, subject to applicable law.

For ongoing services, cancellation does not eliminate amounts already due for completed work, minimum commitment periods, approved project work, or other obligations stated in the applicable agreement.

Any recurring or automatically renewing offering will provide the applicable renewal, billing, minimum commitment, and cancellation terms before purchase.

Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, website content, written materials, frameworks, graphics, resources, downloads, and original educational materials are owned by or licensed to The Rooted Soul and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Third-Party Platforms

The Rooted Soul may use third-party platforms such as Kajabi, Jotform, Acuity Scheduling, QuickBooks, email providers, payment processors, and similar technology providers.

Your use of those platforms may also be subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. The Rooted Soul is not responsible for outages, security incidents, or other failures caused solely by third-party systems outside our reasonable control.

Website Information

We make reasonable efforts to keep website information accurate and current, but services, pricing, availability, features, and policies may change. Information on the website does not create a professional engagement until the applicable engagement or purchase process has been completed.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, The Rooted Soul will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or speculative damages arising solely from use of the website, educational content, or business decisions made without an applicable professional engagement.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated periodically. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the website after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
